Welcome to Rowberry's Nursery
The growing nursery, farm shop, butchery, deli and restaurant.
Started in 1977 by Chris and Maria Rowberry; Rowberrys started as a stall outside Chris’s house. Soon being outgrown, Chris and Maria rented some land and built a few polytunnels on the local allotments. Requiring yet more space they purchased the land today known as Rowberry’s Nursery.
Rowberry's consists of a 300 acre farm; growing crops, potatoes, fruit and veg. There is a herd of 100 shorthorn cattle and over 150 saddle back pigs and over 300 chickens. We have a 2 story restaurant capable of seating over 150 people. We have recently expanded both the garden centre and farm shop introducing a post office and deli; not forgetting out traditional Rowberry's butchery.
Today Rowberry's is operated by Chris Rowberry, his sister-in-law Arna and his son, Sam. The ethos of Rowberry's has been the key drive behind the business. Supporting local farmers selling as much local produce as possible. We aim to keep the prices competitive even in the economic climate and work hard to make our customers always feel welcome.
Great value plants with many multi-buy offers. We can sell plants at lower than average prices because we propagate many varieties on site therefore cutting out the middle man.
